You’re busy and you know it.

You don’t have a lot of time to mess around. You might be a busy executive, busy running a household, an organisation, or a high-flying athlete. You don’t have the time to be worried about your health. You con’t have time to be sick. People rely on you, and you’re good at what you do. You take care of people, you get shit done, you’re responsible for making sure things are working, and you’re dedicated to the things you care about.

You’ve started to notice you’re not bouncing back as strong as you used to be. You are pushing just as hard, but you’re resilience isn’t where it used to be. You might be slower, crankier, a little more forgetful. Maybe you’ve noticed foods don’t sit as well as they used to, you’ve got a bit of a cranky tummy or acid reflux. Maybe it’s taking you longer to get to sleep, or you’re waking up at night more than you have been. Your mood is dipping. You can’t be bothered to do the things that you used to enjoy. It’s Netflix and chill every night, except maybe it’s a bit less chill with your partner. Maybe your sex drive isn’t where it used to be. All things start to feel like a bit more effort, like there’s a bit more mud around you than there used to be.It’s not that you’re slacking off, you’re just not as engaged as you used to be.

You could be someone who’s new to taking care of your body. Or maybe you’re starting over. You could feel like you’ve been through it all, done it all before. You’ve tried a hundred different diets, Jenny Craig, gym challenges, weigh ins, but you’re never completely sure what works for you body.

You may be sick. You may have a recent diagnosis of something you’ve never heard of, or that your mum’s mum had. You might be feeling scared, or unsure of how to move forward with treatment. Your doctor has offered you medication but you don’t know if that’s the way you want to go forward.

All of these things are manageable with a change in the way you nourish your body.
